Avoid material damage due to improper use
and/or unsuitable tools
(heating engineer's responsibility).
Unsuitable tools and/or improper use of tools can cause
damage, such as water leaks.
> Always use a suitable open-ended spanner to tighten
or loosen threaded connections.
> Do not use pipe wrenches, extensions, etc.
Do not make any modifications to the electric domes-
tic hot water cylinder's environment.
No changes must be made to the following equipment:
– the electric domestic hot water cylinder
– the water and power supply lines
– any structural conditions that could affect the opera-
tional reliability of the unit
> Do not make any changes to the above.
> In your role as heating engineer, you should inform
the operator that no changes must be made to the
above.
In the event of a fault:
> Unplug the mains plug.
> If the electric domestic hot water cylinder is not pro-
ducing hot water or if any other fault occurs, inform
an approved heating engineer.
> Do not carry out any repairs yourself.
> Never not open the unit cover under any circum-
stances.
Do not use timer switches.
If you were to fit a timer switch, the safety temperature
limiter (STL) may reset itself inadvertently in the event
of a fault. The unit may suffer damage as a result.
> Never use a timer switch to control the unit under
any circumstances.
