6 Initial Setup and Start

2. Position the lower edge of the enclosure lid on
the lower rim of the inverter. The opening of the
enclosure lid must rest exactly in the screw on the
inverter.
3. Connect display cable to display. Insert the plug
and fasten it with two screws (Philips screwdriver,
torque 0.5 Nm). Insert the two screws on the
cable holder (TX20, torque: 2 Nm).
4. Attach the one-piece enclosure lid with sealing
washer and screw (TX55, torque 13 Nm).
Closing the inverter with two-piece enclosure
lid:
1. Close the lower part of the two-piece enclosure
lid. Fasten the three front screws (see Section 9.4,
page 48).

6.1 User interface

The user interface comprises:

• Local display, for all inverter variants. The local
display shows status information of the inverter. It
is not possible to set up or confgure the inverter
via the display. The "#" in the display explains the
operation modes.
• Local commissioning and service tool (LCS-Tool).
The LCS-Tool can be used for confguring one or
more inverters.

6.1.1 Operating modes

The inverter has fve operation modes, indicated by
LEDs.

When no power has been fed into the AC grid for
more than 10 minutes, the inverter disconnects from
the grid and shuts down. User and communication
interfaces remain powered for communication
purposes.

Once the DC input voltage reaches the minimum
initial voltage required, the inverter goes into
operation. The inverter performs a series of internal
self-tests, including measurement of the resistance
between the PV array and ground. Meanwhile, it
