4.3. OPERATING PRINCIPLE.
This manual describes the installation and operation of
Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) from the
PRO3/RT3
series, as equipment that can function independently
as a unit or connected in parallel.
UPS ensure optimum protection of any critical load, maintaining
the supply voltage of the loads between the specified parameters
without interruption during failure, deterioration or fluctuation
of mains power, and with a wide range of models (from 4 kVA
to 10 kVA) available, allowing the end user to adapt the model
according to their needs.

SLC TWIN PRO3/RT3
Thanks to their PWM (pulse width modulation) and double-
conversion technology,
compact, cool, silent and high performance.
The double converter principle eliminates all mains power
disturbances. A rectifier converts the AC current of the mains into
DC current, thereby maintaining optimum battery charge level and
powering the inverter, which, in turn, generates a suitable AC sine-
wave voltage for continuously powering the loads. In the event of
failure of the UPS's mains power, the batteries supply clean power
to the inverter.
The design and construction of the
series UPS has been carried out in accordance with international
standards.
In addition, these models allow expansion by connecting additional
modules of the same power in parallel, to obtain N+X redundancy
or increase the power of the system.

This series has therefore been designed to maximise the availability
of critical loads and ensure that your business is protected against
variations in voltage, frequency, electrical noise, interruptions and
micro-interruptions, present in power distribution lines. This is the
