5.1.5. Transport to the site.
It is recommended to transport the UPS by means of a pallet jack
or the most appropriate method considering the distance between
the two points.
If the distance is considerable, it is recommended to move the
unit in its packaging to the vicinity of the installation site and then
unpack it.
5.1.6. Siting, immobilisation and considerations.

All UPS from the
installation (tower), as well as the battery modules external to the
equipment.
All
SLC TWIN RT3
vertically (tower) or horizontally (rack) for installation in
19" cabinets, regardless of whether or not they have a battery
module or whether the available autonomy is standard or extended
(greater number of battery modules).
Follow the instructions indicated in the corresponding sections
relating to either of the two possibilities, according to the particular
configuration of your device.
Fig. 24 to Fig. 25 show, by way of example, illustrations of a unit
with or without its battery module. These illustrations provide
help and guidance in the steps to follow, but the instructions are
not intended to refer to a single model, although, in practice, the
actions to be carried out are always the same for all of them.
For all instructions regarding connections, refer to section 5.2.
5.2. INSTALLATION PROCEDURES.
5.2.1. SLC TWIN PRO3 models.
In order for the air to flow freely, it is recommended to leave
a space of 500 mm at the front and back.
UPS unit.
Place the unit on a flat and stable surface.

Install the supports to improve stability, as indicated in Fig. 22.

Connect the unit to earth via the two sockets provided (Fig. 2

and Fig. 3).

EBM unit.
The EBM installation steps are the same as for the UPS,
as indicated above.
It is recommended to place the EBM module on the left side of
the UPS.
5.2.2. Models.
There are 2 installation modes for SLC TWIN RT3 models: rack
and tower.
To ensure good ventilation, leave a space (of at least
500 mm) at the front and back of the equipment.
Do not move the front/rear panel of the module during installation.
Assembly in rack format in a cabinet.
This procedure is suitable for the installation of a 19" rack-type
cabinet, it is recommended that the depth of the cabinet is no less
than 800 mm.
