5. With the L-brackets removed, carefully lower the unit into
the cutout.
• The front of the unit is labeled and corresponds to the
Front Zone Selection button on the control panel.

6. Assemble the brackets to the
underside of the unit.
7. Tighten the bracket screws until the
top flange lies flat on the countertop.
NOTICE
Do not use excessive force when
tightening mounting screws on
built-in units. This may damage unit
and/or countertop.
NOTE: Silicone sealant must be rated for use at temperatures
up to 250°F (121°C).
8. Install the bezel onto the well.
a. Apply a bead of silicone sealant between the counter
and the front and rear edges of the well.
b. Place the bezel on top of the well.
c. Place a weight on the bezel to ensure the bezel is flat
on the countertop.
d. Apply a bead of NSF-approved silicone sealant around
the inside perimeter of the bezel. If there are gaps on
the outside of the bezel, silicone sealant may be added
to fill in gaps.
NOTE: When installing two or three wells next to each other
use a 2, 3, or 4-ganged bezel available as accessories.
9. Install the control panel in the desired location. Refer to the
"Installing the Control Panel" procedure.
Under Mount Installation
Under mount installation requires a prepared, stainless steel
countertop and provides a seamless transition between the
countertop and the induction well. Two under mount options
can be used. Follow the desired under mount procedure.

1. Carefully measure and cut the flanged opening in the
countertop. Use the "Flanged Countertop Installation" below
as a guide.

2. Cut and drill the appropriate holes in the vertical surface
where the control will be installed. Refer to the "Installing the
Control Panel" procedure for cutout dimensions.
3. Cut the required openings in the cabinetry to provide
proper ventilation to the induction dry well. Refer to the
"Ventilation Requirements" listed previously in this section.
4. If necessary, make structural modifications or add bracing
underneath the countertop to ensure the countertop will
support the weight of the unit and its contents.
5. Secure the unit to the underside of the countertop.
a. Create the countertop cutout with turned-down flanges
on all four sides. These flanges should be positioned on
the inside of the well for installation.

b. Apply silicone sealant to the top edge of the well.
c. Secure the unit to the countertop using #8 self-tapping
screws (not supplied) through the turned-down flanges
and into the top rim of the well.
