- The electric characteristics (frequency, voltage,
nominal current) of the frequency converter
are specified on the pump identification label.
Ensure that the frequency converter complies
with the power supply it will be used with.
- The electric protection of the motor is integrat-
ed into the converter. It is set up to take into
account the pump characteristics and ensure
the protection of pump and motor.
- In case of impedance between earth and neutral
point, install a protection before motor-conver-
ter.
- In all cases, install a fused isolator (type gF)
to protect the unit.
NOTICE: If a residualcurrent device needs to be
installed for the user's protection, it must have
a delay effect. Adjust the circuit breaker rating
according to the current provided on the pump
identification sticker.
NOTICE: This pump is equipped with a frequency
converter and does not require protection from
a residualcurrent device. Frequency convert-
ers can impair the function of residual-current
devices.
Exception: Residualcurrent devices that have a
selective universal-current-sensitive design are
permitted.
• Labelling:
FI
• Trigger current: > 30 mA.
- Use only power cables complying with applicable
regulations.
- Protection on mains side: max. admissible 25 A.
Trigger characteristic of the fuses: B.
Suitable for use on a circuit capable of supplying
a maximum of 5,000 rms symmetrical amperes,
480 V maximum if protected by class DC, J or
RK5 fuses, and features:
1,1/2,2/3,2/4,2 kW: nominal intensity 20A
5,5/6,5/7,5 kW: nominal intensity 30A
- The internal overload protection acts before rea-
ching 110% of full motor load.
As soon as the power supply to the converter is
activated, a 2second display test is carried out
during which all characters on the display are
shown.
