NOTE: When the segments of fuel gauge flash
subsequence, it indicates that there is an open circuit or
a short circuit in the fuel gauge which should be repaired
immediately.
NOTE: The level indicated by the fuel gauge may
change during frequent ignition switch operation, urgent
acceleration or deceleration, motorcycle incline or uphill
or downhill riding. This is normal.
NOTE: When the motorcycle is held upright, turn the
ignition switch to the " *" position, don't start the engine,
the fuel gauge will indicate correctly.
SEL BUTTON
The SEL button is used to shift between the TOTAL meter
display and the TRIP meter display. And it can also be
used when the oil change indicator 5 goes out. Refer to
the "oil change" section.

Shifting the TOTAL and TRIP meter:
Press the SEL button.

TRIP meter reset:
Shift to TRIP meter display mode, and press the SEL
button for more than 2 seconds.
BATTERY RECHARGE INDICATOR
The battery recharge indicator "F" flashes to remind
you to turn off power consuming equipment including
headlights to avoid over-discharging of the battery. Should
the indicator keep flashing with no power-consuming

equipment in use, the battery is over-discharged and
should be recharged immediately.
NOTE: Should the indicator keep flashing and the
dashboard fail, there may be an open circuit in the power
cord of the battery, or a blown fuse. Check the circuit
carefully.
LEFT HANDLE SWITCHES
DIMMER SWITCH 1
"'" position
The headlight low beam and taillight will light up.
"9" position
The headlight high beam and taillight will light up. The
high beam indicator on the dashboard will also be lit.
Holding the dimmer switch between "9" and "'"
position will turn on both "9" and "'" headlight
beams. This operation can damage the motorcycle.
F
Use the dimmer switch only at "9" and "'"
position. Do not stick tape on the headlight or
place objects in front of the headlight.
