4.1 STARTING YOUR GENERATOR
WARNING!
Before using the generator, consult a local electrician and local
electrical codes to determine grounding requirements for your
intended use. This generator is floating neutral.
NOTE
Before starting the engine disconnect all devices from the outlets on the
front panel.
Return the starter grip slowly by hand, do not let it snap back.

1.
Rotate the fuel cap vent lever to ON.
2.
Rotate the power knob to the CHOKE position.
3.
Pull the starter slowly until you feel it engage then pull quickly. Repeat until
the generator starts.
4.
When the engine warms rotate the power knob to RUN. The choke is used
to provide the proper air-fuel mixture when the engine is cold.
