4.3.2- Chain
Note: Before assembling the chain, pay attention to direction of cutting teeth and
to chain direction of rotation. The direction of rotation is indicated by an arrow on
the housing. Follow the assembly direction and chain run direction
Chainsaw with Quick Tension
1. Slip the chain around the sprocket (e) and into
the groove on the guide bar (2).
2. Guide the saw chain around the reversible star
concurrently pull the saw chain slightly in the
direction of the arrow.
3. Guide the chain over the chain catcher (f).
The saw chain may droop slightly on the lower
part of the bar.
4. Install the chain wheel cover (a) and lightly
tighten the clamping knob (15).

saw chain edges the lower part of the guide bar.
When tightening the screw for chain
tension, be careful not to allow the tension hook
slip out of the lower hole in the guide bar.
5. Install the chain wheel cover. Tighten nuts
hand-tight only.
