WARNING! - The saw chain has very sharp edges.
WARNING! Make sure that the chainsaw is switched off and unplugged from
4.3.1- Guide bar
Chainsaw with Quick Tension
1. Release the chain brake (3): pull the chain
brake lever (3) towards the front handle.
2. Undo the clamping knob (15) of the chain
wheel cover in the direction of the arrow and
remove the cover (a).
3. Turn the chain tensioning disk (d) on the
loosened guide bar (2) all the way to the right.
4. Set the guide bar (2) onto the threaded stud (b)
and the guide pin (c).
5. Turn the chain tensioning disk (d) to the left as
far as possible. This slides the guide rail in the
direction of the chain wheel.
6. Close cover (a).

Chainsaw with Tool Tension
1. Release chain brake: pull the chain brake lever (3)
towards the front handle.
2. Remove the retaining nuts (15) of the chain wheel
cover in the direction of the arrow and remove the
cover (a).
3. With a screwdriver, turn the adjustment screw (b)
counterclockwise until the tang (c) (projecting prong)
is to the end of its travel toward the clutch drum and
sprocket.
4. Place the slotted end of the guide bar (2) over the 2
bar bolts (b).
5. Position the bar so that the adjustment tang (c) fits
into the guide bar lower hole.
6. Close cover (a)
