Functional test
A functional test must be performed before each use.
Action :
Pull both control arms down
Release 1 control arm at a time
Release the 2 control arms simultaneously
4.3- Ventilation (Fig.8)
Bleed the hydraulic system before starting the log splitter.
- Slightly loosen the dipstick (E) so that air can escape from the oil tank
- Leave the cap open during operation
- Close the cap before moving the machine to prevent oil leakage
If the hydraulic system is not ventilated, trapped air will damage the seals and thus the cleaver!

4.4- Move the splitter (Fig. 2)
Before moving or transporting the splitter, unplug it from its power source
Make sure the oil tank cap is firmly tightened.
Make sure the bleed screw is closed.
The splitter is equipped with 2 wheels for minor displacements.
To move the splitter to the work area, grasp the handle to slightly tilt the splitter.
The wheels are not intended to transport or tow the splitter over long distances.
Do not transport on open road.
Do not use the splitter to transport people / animals or objects.
4.5- Working pressure
The maximum pressure has been adjusted at the factory and does not require any adjustment by the
user. Any unauthorized intervention may damage the machine and pose a risk to the user. Any
unauthorized intervention on the pressure adjustment screw invalidates the warranty.
4.6- Power button (Fig. 9 & 10)
- Open the protective cap (C)
- Press the green button (A) to switch on the device
- Press the red button (B) to turn off the device
Result :
The splitting wedge goes down to about 10cm
above the table
The splitting wedge remains in the selected
position
The splitting wedge goes back to its original
position
