flexi-stitches
Voumay need to adjust the Flexi-stitch Balance
selector when using a flexi-stitch paltern in
order to achieve the correct paltern
appearance.
Before vou move the stitch balance dial from
its neutral position, make a test sample using
two layers of scrap fabrico If adjustment is
required stitch slowlyand move the selector as
yousew.
• Move selector to the right to separate
sfitchesof paltern.
• Move selector to the left to bring stitches of
the paltern together.
Pattern stitching
In addition to straightstitch and zig-zag stltch,
your machine can produce a variety of stitch
palterns. Thereare two types of stitchpalterns
built into your machine:
• Decorative stitch paHerns are produced
by side-to-side movement of the needle.
• Flexi stitch paHerns are produced by
both the side-to-side movement of the
needle, and the back-and-forth movement
ofthefeed.

One is already in the machine and ls
