This partly completed machine may only be commissioned once it has been
determined that the machine into which it is to be fitted complies with the
provisions of the Machinery (Safety) Regulation 2008.
The following harmonised standards 1) were applied:
DIN EN ISO 12100: Safety of machinery – General principles for design
DIN EN ISO 13857: Safety of machinery – Safety distances to prevent hazard
zones being reached by upper and lower limbs
Additional national standards and technical specifications 2), in particular:
VDMA 24167: Fans – Safety requirements
The manufacturer is committed to providing the special documents required
for the partly completed machine as per Appendix VII,
