Operation and Adjustment

Adjustment of the gripping range
Caution while adjustment work. There is danger of injuring the hands!
Use safety gloves! →
To adjust the gripping range, the device must be placed on level ground!
If adjustments are made in a raised/hanging position, there is a risk of injury ( caused by moving parts)!
According to the leg length of the foot (ratio of height to length of ~ 1.85 *), from 2 repositioning settings
(for L-stone thickness 116 and 120 mm) must be chosen for an almost vertical positioning of the gripping
goods to be lifted.
* maximum height of the L-stones = 1,300 mm
To change the gripping range, first remove the linch
pin (1) and then pull out the plug pin (2) (→ Fig. 1).
Now the corresponding parts can be moved
accordingly (→ Fig. 2 or Fig. 3).
After the parts have been moved, secure them again
with the locking pin (2) and the lynch pin (1).
The front repositioning setting (marked "L" (large)) is
suitable for larger L-stones whose centre of gravity
lies outside the centre axis of the load.
The rear repositioning setting (marked "L" (small)) is
suitable for smaller L-stones whose centre of gravity
lies within the centre axis of the load.
