9.1 Replacing the filter screw
You can do this yourself if you are technically
minded, or have it done by your authorized
dealer.
You must change the filter screw every two
years, or if it is clogged.
1. Be sure to wash your hands before
changing the filter screw.
2. To unscrew the filter screw you will need
a 4 mm Allen key (internal hexagon
wrench).
3. Clean the hexagon socket of the filter
screw with a clean screwdriver.
4. Unscrew the filter screw to the left, but do
not screw it right out yet.
5. To prevent any dirt from falling into the
pressure reducer, hold it so that the con-
nector faces down. In this position, un-
screw the filter screw completely.
6. Clean the Allen key carefully with wash-
ing-up liquid, rinse it well with plenty of
clean water and dry it thoroughly.
7. Insert the new filter screw WM 30905
with the aid of the Allen key. Lightly
tighten the filter screw by turning to the
right.
