2. Make sure that there is absolutely no dirt
on the connecting threads of the oxygen
cylinder and the pressure reducer.
3. Check that the filter screw
necessary, fit a new filter screw (see "9.1
Replacing the filter screw " page 42).
4. Screw the pressure reducer to the cylin-
der valve with the corrugated union nut of
the connecting union
nut by hand.
5. To find out how to connect the device
that you want to supply with oxygen,
please consult the operating instructions
for the relevant device.
6. Open the oxygen cylinder by slowly turn-
ing the cylinder valve not more than one
turn to the left. You can now read the
cylinder pressure on the contents gage
