7. Functional Checks
After every change of cylinder it is essential to
perform a functional check on the pressure re-
ducer.
If this functional check reveals any faults, you
must not use the pressure reducer.
A full functional check comprises:
•
Visual inspection for mechanical dama-
ge;
•
"7.2 Checking the system for leaks" on
page 34;
•
"7.3 Checking for leaks in the safety val-
ve" on page 36.
We recommend you always have the follo-
wing spare parts available:
•
Replacement seal set WM 1148;
•
Filter screw WM 30905
7.1 Intervals
After every change of cylinder, and at
least every 6 months if not used in the
meantime
•
Perform a functional check.
In the event of dirt problems, or at least
every 2 years
•
Change filter screw
