All pressure reducers are protected against
excessive pressure by a safety valve
The following pressure reducers are de-
scribed in these operating instructions:
Fixed pressure reducer (Fix)
A fixed orifice in the oxygen outlet
a constant flow.
The pressure reducers listed above differ in the
length and position of the connecting union
Variable pressure reducer (Fine)
The piston is acted on by a second spring
which is adjustable by means of a spindle sys-
tem. This makes it possible to set different op-
erating pressures (outlet pressures). In
conjunction with the fixed orifice in the oxy-
gen outlet
you can therefore set different

flow rates. The flow setting is indicated on the
flow gage
.
