6. Hygienic preparation
If external cleaning is necessary, use only a
clean cloth. The cloth may be dry or mois-
tened with clean water.
Attention!
Because of the risk of explosion, no
liquid must be allowed to enter the
pressure reducer.
In exceptional cases it may be essential to
wipe the pressure reducer with disinfectant. If
so, take special care to ensure that no liquid
enters the pressure reducer.
Attention!
Apart from the explosion risk, there
is also the danger that the disinfect-
ant could pass with the oxygen into the pa-
tient's airways and cause injury.
