03. Delete all Fixture patch
This menu item rests all DMX channel assignments and channel options to the pre-settings.
• Turn the dial switch PAN (11) until the above menu item appears in the display (12).
• Push the REC/ENTER (4) button.
• Use the dial switch PAN (11) to select [YES] and push the REC/ENTER (4) button again.
04. Fade mode
With this function, you can define whether the FADE function is to be assigned to all control channels, or
only the dial switches PAN (11) and TILT (13).
• Turn the dial switch PAN (11) until the above menu item appears in the display (12).
• Push the REC/ENTER (4) button.
• Use the dial switch PAN (11) to select [ALL CHANNELS] or [ONLY PAN/TILT] and push the REC/ENTER (4)
button again.
05. RDM DMX Address setup
With this menu item, RDM devices can be identified and address assignments changed.
RDM means Remote Device Management and creates a bidirectional connection between DMX
controller and effect light via the DMX connection. For this purpose, the DMX controller and the
effect light should be RDM-capable.
Via the standardised RDM protocol, the controller can identify connected devices and configure
them.
In a DMX chain, RDM devices and conventional devices may be present, but only RDM-capable
devices will be recognised.
For the RDM function, no special DMX lines are required, but any splitters in the DMX line also
must be RDM capable.
• Turn the dial switch PAN (11) until the above menu item appears in the display (12).
• Push the REC/ENTER (4) button.
• Use the dial switch PAN (11) to select [YES] and push the REC/ENTER (4) button again.
• The device is looking for connected RDM-devices and shows the number of devices found after sear-
ching:
NO FIXTURE FOUND
DISCOVER COUNTxxx
• Select the desired RDM device with the dial switch PAN (11).
In the upper display line, information on the device is shown, while the lower display line indicates the
DMX start address of the device.
• You can now change the DMX start address of the selected RDM device with the dial switch TILT (13).
Confirm this change by pushing the REC/ENTER (4) button.
