Notes!
Due to the fact that the measuring input is very sensitive, it is
possible that particularly in the mV-range any measuring values
will be indicated if the measuring wires are free (not connected
to a test object). This "phenomenon" is normal and disappears
as soon as you perform your measurement.
B Direct and alternating currents measurement
ACA and DCA
Proceed as follows to measure alternating currents or direct cur-
rents (do not fail to heed to the figures):
1. Set the rotary switch to "mA~/-" or to "µA~/-" for currents of up to
400mA and to "A~/-" for currents of above 400mA up to max. 20A
(max. period of 10s with pauses of 15min between the single
measurements).
2. Set the type of current via the "SELECT" button: AC or DC
3. Connect the black measuring line with the COM socket and the
red measuring line with the mA-socket for currents up to 400mA
or with the A-socket for currents above 400mA. Afterwards (for
measuring purposes), connect the measuring lines in series to
the object to be measured.
