– To secure the support mechanism, press on the handles (05 and 40) (Fig. 6) and secure the
latch to the ring (07).
3.3) Positioning the machine
– Insert the pin (30) of the machine into the housing (09) of the trolley.
The trolley is designed to support Cembre portable machines (SD... sleeper drills and NR...
impact wrenches).
Note: we recommend fi tting the 10 cm (XT100) socket extension when using the NR-11P impact
wrench on support trolley (see Fig 8).
3.4) Operation
(Ref. to Figs. 9, 10 and 11)
The support mechanism for holding the machine is designed with a four bar linkage, to guar-
antee a precise raising and lowering of the machine.
The gas pressure spring (08) keeps the machine in equilibrium, facilitating easy movement
during the work.
– Start up the machine refering to its operation and maintenance manual.
– Using the main handle of the machine, run the trolley along the rail up to the working area
(Ref. to Figs. 9a and 9b); the horizontal movement of the support mechanism is restricted by
positive stops (ref. to Fig. 10).
– Lower the machine and operate as appropriate.
– At the end of each operation, raise the machine and move the trolley along the rail to the
new working position.
NOTE:
The trolley can be quickly and easily removed from
the rail by two people, using the following holding points (ref. to Fig. 11):
– handle (B) and the 3rd wheel bar (01).
– handle (C) and the machine.
Duration for removal of the trolley from track: ≤ 15 seconds
3.5) Adjusting the operating angle
The trolley is equipped with a preset system that enables, where necessary, the vertical position to
be changed; proceed as follows:
– Loosen the clamp (03) of the third wheel (ref. to Fig. 1a).
Machine perfectly vertical: adjust the 3rd wheel bar in order to line up the two arrows (ref.
to Fig. 1a).
Machine slanted: depending on the operating angle required, lift or lower the 3rd wheel bar
in order to reach a max. of 5° in line with the top or bottom notch (ref. to Fig. 1b).
– Tighten the clamp (03).

LOCK THE TROLLEY:
When in rest, to prevent accidental move-
ment of the trolley, release the stop pin (10)
onto the wheel.
