Under no circumstances should safety outputs OSSD1 and OSSD2
be wired in series or in parallel (Fig. 16, 17, 18); both must be used
separately, as shown in Fig. 15. Should one of these two
configurations be used in error, a malfunction will occur (see Ch. 7,
"Diagnostic function").
If only one OSSD is used, the category will be reduced (from Type 4
to Type 2).
