The wearing parts are shown in the Appendix.
Lightly grease sliding parts. We advise you to use
Krautzberger special grease for parts that need grea-
sing. This grease is available in 250g cans.
Always replace material nozzle and material needle
together
Following assembly, ensure that all parts are firmly
tightened/connected
Check moving parts for smooth motion
Changing the air and material nozzle
Loosen clamping nut (13) (nozzle system M-24x1,0)
Remove air nozzle (1-8)
Unscrew material nozzle (9-12) using OE spanner
Changing the material needle
Always replace the material needle and the material nozz-
le at the same time.
Unscrew closing piece (35) from main element (15).
Caution: closing piece is under spring pressure
Remove parts 26-30, check gaskets 22, 23, and 27
replace if necessary
Replace worn material needle (37-38)
Assemble in reverse order.
Replacing packing gaskets

Remove cover clamp (39)
Loosen screws (42)
Remove head section (41)
Unscrew needle guide (19)
Replace gaskets (16 or 17 )
Assemble in reverse order.
Gaskets (21)
First, remove the material needle as described above.
Then
Unscrew the screw (20)
Pull out the gasket set (21) – consisting of three single
gaskets – using a wire hook (ensure that you do not
damage any threads!)
Press the new gasket set (21) into place, and lubricate
with a drop of acid-free machine oil
Loosely screw in the screw (20)
Insert the material needle, cmpl. (see above)
Tighten the screw (20), making sure it does not quite
restrict the motion of the material needle (but do not
tighten to the extent that the gaskets might be crus-
hed!)
Screw the main element at front (40 or 41) back on. Do
not forget the pins (44) and the gaskets (45).
