CAUSES
• Leaks in the pipes.
• Obstructions in the hot
fumes circuit.
• Obstructions in the chi-
mney, or height or cross
sections not suitable
for the oven.
• Check that the ignition
burner flame is strong
enough to heat up the
thermocouple.
• Burners flames are too
high, or too low, or yel-
low.
• Air present in the gas
circuit, especially after
a period of inactivity.
SOLUTIONS
• Outer piping must be checked in a suit
able way, i.e. with soapy water, not directly
with any flame (there is a risk of accidents
or explosions, especially with GPL gases).
• Make sure the chimney flue is not ob
structed and its height and cross section
are suitable for the oven.
• Make sure gas consumption is not exces-
sive.
• Check combustion.
• Make sure the oven is not working on too
low temperatures.
• Check that burners flames are working
regularly.
• Adjust, if necessary, the pilot burner.
• Make sure of the good working of the elec-
tric valve unit.
• In the first two instances, check the gas
pressure (on the ramp pressure outlet) and
the nozzles diameter. In the third instance,
make sure the burners holes are clean.
• Should no gas come through, make sure
the nozzle hole is not obstructed. The elec-
trode may also be incorrectly positioned.
• Check gas pressure (15 - 18 mbar METH-
ANE GAS "G20 - G25")
• Make sure the ignition burner (pilot) is not
too far away from the main burners and
that the ignition flame is not too short.
• Check the main switch, and the thermo-
stat. These must be on and working regu-
larly.
• Make sure that power is on and that there
is continuity in the electric valve coil.
