9.1
Standard configurations
Burst message (Burst Message) 1: Variables from command (Command) 9 with
gas reading (Primary Value [PV]) in variable slot (Variable Slot) 0 are sent
continuously (Continuous).
Burst message (Burst Message) 2: Information from command (Command) 48
(mainly errors and warnings) is sent if there is a change (On-Change) and
periodically at longer time intervals.
Burst message (Burst Message) 3: deactivated.
To use the standard configurations for burst mode, select the corresponding
configuration via PolySoft without resetting the gas detector to factory settings.
9.2
Configuration for toxic sensors
Burst mode configurations developed for toxic sensors can be selected via
PolySoft.
These configurations are optimized for fast alarm activation and maximum
battery runtime.
Using one of these configurations has the following effects:
Burst message (Burst Message) 1 sends information from command
(Command) 9, after the gas reading (Primary Value [PV]) at the variable slot
(Variable Slot) 0 immediately exceeded the trigger level (Trigger Level) with the
unit ppm. The following burst messages 1 are sent at update periods (Update
Periods). In addition, gas readings are continuously sent regardless of whether
the trigger threshold is exceeded.
Pre-configured burst messages with different trigger limits can be selected
via PolySoft.
Burst message (Burst Message) 2 sends information (mainly errors and
warnings) from command (Command) 48 if there is a change (On-Change) and
periodically at longer intervals.
Burst message (Burst Message) 3 is deactivated.

Configuration for oxygen sensors
Burst mode configurations developed for oxygen sensors can be selected
via PolySoft.
These configurations are optimized for fast alarm activation and maximum
battery runtime.
9.3.1
Warning of oxygen enrichment
Using one of these configurations has the following effects:
Burst message (Burst Message) 1 sends information from command
(Command) 9, after the gas reading (Primary Value [PV]) at the variable slot
(Variable Slot) 0 immediately exceeded the trigger level (Trigger Level) with the
unit Vol%. The following burst messages 1 are sent at update periods (Update
Periods). In addition, gas readings are continuously sent regardless of whether
the trigger threshold is exceeded.
Burst message (Burst Message) 2 sends information (mainly errors and
warnings) from command (Command) 48 if there is a change (On-Change) and
periodically at longer intervals.
Burst message (Burst Message) 3 is deactivated.
9.3.2
Warning of oxygen deficiency
Using one of these configurations has the following effects:
Burst message (Burst Message) 1 sends information from command
(Command) 9, after the gas reading (Primary Value [PV]) at the variable slot
(Variable Slot) 0 has immediately fallen below the trigger level (Trigger Level)
with the unit volume percent. The following burst messages 1 are sent at update
periods (Update Periods). In addition, gas readings are continuously sent
regardless of whether the trigger threshold is exceeded.
Burst message (Burst Message) 2 sends information (mainly errors and
warnings) from command (Command) 48 if there is a change (On-Change) and
periodically at longer intervals.
Burst message (Burst Message) 3 is deactivated.
