8 Cell cleaning
To prevent the electrolysis cell from calcifying, the polarity of the electrodes is
changed at cyclical intervals.
However, this cannot be ruled out in the case of water with a very high lime content.
In this case the electrode package can be removed and decalcified with a suitable
cleaner. This is available from specialist dealers.
9 Decommissioning
To avoid frost damage in winter, the cell must be completely drained.
Remove the electrode package from the cell and store it in a dry, well-ventilated
room.
