Electrical connection
The installation and assembly may only be carried out by an electrical specialist (VDE
0105).
The maximum permitted voltage is 230 V. The mains socket must be installed as close
as possible to the device and locked to the filter pump. Thus, the mains socket may
only carry voltage when the filter pump is operating.
When carrying out work on the electrical system, the damp environment carries an
increased risk of electrical shock. At the same time, an incorrectly implemented
installation of the electrical protective conductor may lead to electrical shock, e.g. by
way of oxidation or cable breakage.
Observe the VDE and EVU regulations of the power supply company. Set up the
swimming pool and the associated safety zones in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-702.
Before carrying out work on the electrical system, take the following precautions:
• Disconnect the system from the power supply.
• Apply warning signs: "Do not switch on! We are working on the system."
• Check to ensure that no voltage is present.
Check the electrical system regularly to ensure it is in a proper state.
WARNING
Risk of electrical shock caused by incorrect connection!
Observe the VDE and EVU regulations of the power supply
company.
Install the pumps for the swimming pool and the associated safety
zones in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-702.
Install separation mechanisms designed to interrupt the voltage
supply with a 3 mm contact opening, at least, per terminal.
WARNING
Protect the power circuit with a residual current device, nominal
residual current IΔN ≤ 30 mA.
Only use appropriate cable types in accordance with regional
regulations.
Adapt the minimum cross-section of the cables to the motor
performance and the cable length.
Should there be potential for dangerous situations, install an
emergency off switch in accordance with DIN EN 809. The
installer/operator must make the decision in accordance with this
standard.
