12.0 INSTRUCTIONS WITH REGARD TO EMC
● Medical electrical devices are subject to special precautions with regard to EMC and must be installed in accordance wit the
EMC instructions specified below.
● Portable and mobile HF communication equipment can influence medical electrical devices.
● The use of accessories, transducers or cables other than those specified can lead to increased emission or a reduced
electromagnetic immunity of the device or system.

Recommended safety distances between portable and mobile HF telecommunication devices and TRA-
TRACHEOPORT COMPACT is intended for operation in an electromagnetic environment with controlled HF disturbances. The

customer or the user of the TRACHEOPORT
distance between portable and mobile HF telecommunication devices (transmitters) and the TRACHEOPORT
COMPACT device – depending on the output power of the communication device as specified below.
