Installation of the Power Socket and the Wire Lane

Use an existing leadthhrough to the interior or drill a hole to the interior with a diameter of
(Ø 19 mm) at a suitable location.
Smooth off the edges of the hole and apply antifreeze.

Lead the wire lane from the inside to the outside through the drill hole and seal with the
leadthrough rubber bushing, paying careful attention to proper positioning.
Lay wire lane under the bottom side of the vehicle to the socket retaining plate and connect
suitably. The cable may not be damaged or folded.Ensure a sufficient distance to hot parts,
e.g. the exhaust system.

Pull the socket seal onto the wire lane and connect the socket's contact support in the
following manner:
For a 7 Pin Socket:

Earth ( circuit 9 )
Then insert the contact support in the outer housing and pull the surface seal onto the socket
housing. Attach the socket with the accompanying screws to the socket retaining plate,
while ensuring that the seals are sitting properly.
