4 CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE
4.1 GENERAL MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Before performing any cleaning
or maintenance operation, switch off the
appliance and unplug it from the mains
power.
In the interests of hygiene, once you have finished
using the appliance, we recommend that you rinse
the attachments by
vacuuming up clean water. This will clean both the
attachments and the inside of the flexible tube.
We recommend that you empty the liquid collection
container after each use, as described in the follo-
wing section.
If the appliance is not to be used for a long period,
we recommend that you empty out the boiler tank
before putting it away.
Only use a damp cloth to clean the appliance exte-
rior. Never use solvents or detergents that could
damage the plastic surfaces.
To guarantee the constant perfect operation of your
appliance, we recommend a few simple maintenan-
ce procedures:
Checking the air outlet (6) and motor air (6.1) fil-
ters
Remove the water container from its seating and
with the help of a thin object (e.g. a coin), press
inside the slit on the appliance, removing the lid (5)
at the same time.
Check the filter and if necessary, rinse it with run-
ning water; leave it to dry and refit it.
Replace the lid, pressing it until it clicks into place.
Repeat these steps for the other filter.
