• Do not use the appliance if it is damaged in any way. To prevent any risks, all
repairs, including the replacement of the power cord, must be performed by an Ariete
Assistance Centre or Ariete authorised technicians only.
• Before using the appliance, make sure that the items, surfaces and fabrics to be clea-
ned are resistant to or compatible with the high temperature of the steam.
In particular, for treated terracotta flooring, wooden surfaces, and delicate fabrics
such as silk or velvet, you should consult the manufacturer's instructions and test a
small, hidden area or a sample first.
• Never touch the appliance when your hands or feet are wet if it is plugged in.
• Never place the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to the power
mains; unplug it after each use.
• Only use original spare parts and attachments approved by the manufacturer so as
not to compromise the safety of the appliance.
• Do not vacuum up acids or solvents; these could cause serious damage to the
appliance. Above all, do not vacuum up explosive powders or liquids since, if
these come into contact with the internal parts of the appliance, they could
explode.
• When in use, the appliance contains pressurised steam; improper use may be
dangerous. This appliance is for home use only, as indicated in the manual.
The manufacturer refuses to accept any liability for damages caused through
improper or incorrect use of the appliance.
• Always switch off the appliance at the main switch (8) and unplug it from the mains
power socket before proceeding to fill the boiler tank or performing any cleaning or
maintenance operations on the appliance itself.
