Installation Guidelines
The pipe must be completely
filled with the fluid i.e: air bubbles
must not be present.
Do not expose the device to di-
rect sunlight or strong magnetic
fields.
The flow indicator is not desi-
gned for gas flow measurement.
The recommended straight pipe
lengths should respect 10xDN
upstream and 3xDN down-
stream. Depending on the design
of the pipe, it may be necessary
to increase the distances or use
a flow tranquilizer or to obtain the
best accuracy.
The flow rate indicator can be
installed either in an horizontal or
vertical pipe.
Installation
The flow indicator 8024 is cali-
brated at the factory according
to the specified flow range and
K-Factor of the used fitting, by
means of switches 1, 2 and 3 of
SW2.
Do not modify the configu-
ration of these switches; To
calibrate the device, contact
your Burkert agent.
- Before mounting
the device, remove
the T- shaped carton
retainer which
prevents the pointer
from moving.
- Remove all the
burrs inside the
pipes.

Conditions d'installation
La conduite doit être remplie par
le fluide, et exempte de bulles
d'air.
Eviter d'exposer l'appareil au ra-
yonnement direct du soleil et aux
champs magnétiques intenses.
L'indicateur de débit n'est pas
adapté à la mesure des gaz.
Installer l'indicateur de débit sur
la conduite avec une canalisation
rectiligne minimale de 10xDN
en amont et 3xDN en aval. La
précision de la mesure peut être
améliorée, par l'augmentation de
ces distances ou l'utilisation d'un
tranquilliseur de circulation.
L'indicateur de débit 8024 peut
être installé sur les canalisations
horizontales ou verticales.
Montage
L'indicateur de débit 8024 est
calibré en usine selon la plage
de mesure et le facteur K du
raccord spécifié par l'utilisateur,
à l'aide des interrupteurs 1,2 et
3 de SW2.
La configuration de ces
interrupteurs ne doit pas être
modifiée. Pour recalibrer vot-
re appareil, contactez votre
revendeur Burkert.
- Avant le montage de
l'appareil, retirer la
cale de maintien en
forme de T qui blo-
que le mouvement
de l'aiguille.
- Enlever tous les
copeaux à l'intérieur
des conduites.

Allgemeine Hinweise
Die Rohrleitung muss vollständig
mit Medium gefüllt sein, d.h. es
dürfen keine Luftblasen vorhan-
den sein.
Das Gerät ist vor Dauerwärme-
strahlung, direkter Sonnenbe-
strahlung und starken Magnetfel-
der zu schützen.
Der Durchfluss-Anzeiger ist nicht
für die Messung von Gasen
geeignet.
Die empfohlenen Ein- und Aus-
lauf-strecken betragen 10xDN
ein und 3xDN aus. Um die
höchstmögliche Genauigkeit zu
erhalten, können die notwendi-
gen Beruhigungsstrecken länger
sein, oder es kann ein Strö-
mungsgleichrichter eingesetzt
werden.
Der Anzeiger wird einfach mit
dem Fitting in waagerrechte
oder senkrechte Rohrleitungen
eingebaut.
Einbau
Der Durchfluss-Anzeiger 8024
wird im Werk, nach Kundenan-
gabe des Durchfluss-Bereiches
und dem K-Faktor des Fittings
mittels den Schalter 1, 2 und 3
von SW2 kalibriert.
Diese Konfiguration darf
nicht geändert werden. Um
das Gerät neu zu kalibrieren,
wenden Sie sich bitte an
Bürkert.
- Bevor der Apparat
eingebaut wird,
entnehmen Sie die
Karton-Beilage, die
zum Blockieren der
Nadel, dient.
- Alle Späne aus den
Rohrleitungen
beseitigen.
