After 15 seconds the flashing stops and the
selected programme starts. The yellow LED MAS-
TER (4) lights up. For a quicker start of the pro-
gramme keep button MENU pressed until the pro-
gramme number is displayed.
5) For music control of the colour change programmes
Sh 1 – Sh12 (the other programmes cannot be music-
controlled), the music control must be switched on:
a) Press button MENU so many times until
displayed.

If the music is played with a clear rhythm in the bass
range at sufficient volume and the music control is
switched on, the selected programme is controlled via
the microphone (7). With each music control pulse the
green LED SOUND (6) shortly lights up. If the music
control should not function in an optimum way,
increase the volume or reduce the distance between
the sound source and the PARL-7DMX.
6.1.2 Colour spotlight
The unit is capable of radiating one of 16 preset
colours at maximum brightness or a manually adjusted
colour at any desired brightness.
A. Selecting a preset colour
1) Press button MENU (5) so many times until
displayed.
2) Activate the menu item with button ENTER. The
display shows the colour last adjusted (

3) Select a colour with button DOWN or UP (1 = red ...

B. Manual colour adjustment
Hint: When adjusting the primary colours, not only their
brightness changes but also the shade of colour in case the
colours are mixed. Therefore, first adjust the colour which is
to dominate to the desired brightness and then add the other
two colours. If the intended colour mixture is white, first
adjust the brightness of the green colour because this
appears to be the brightest colour to the human eye. Then
add red to get yellow and finally add blue to get white.

Line") to the DMX INPUT (10) of the first slave unit.
