must be con nected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter L or
coloured red.
WARNING – This appliance must be
earthed.
If the unit is to be put out of opera-
tion definitively, take it to a local
recycling plant for a disposal which
is not harmful to the environment.
3 Mounting
The spotlight can be
a set up by unfolding the bracket (1).
b mounted with a support for lighting units
(C-hook) or a stable mounting screw via
the bracket to a cross arm or a stand.
WARNING: The spotlight
must be mount ed expertly. If
it is installed as a sus pend ed
load above persons, it must
additionally be secur ed, e. g.
by a safety rope fix ed to the
bracket. Fasten the safety
rope in such a way that the
maximum falling distance of
the spotlight is 20 cm.
To adjust the spotlight, slightly release
the two screws (2) on the bracket, incline
the spotlight as desired, then retighten
the screws.
4 Setting the Spotlight into
Operation
WARNING: Very fast colour
changes may trigger epi lep -

sitive persons and persons
with epilepsy!
To switch on the spotlight, connect the
plug of the mains cable (8) to a socket
(230 V~/50 Hz); to switch it off, discon -
nect it. For a more convenient operation,
it is recommended to connect the spot-
light to a mains socket which is switched
on and off via a light switch.
5 Operation without
DMX Controller
Via the operating elements (3) – (5) on
the rear side, the spotlight can be ad -
justed to 4 different operating modes:
– music-controlled change of colour
– automatic change of colour
– automatic colour fading
– manual colour adjustment
5.1 Music-controlled or automatic
change of colour
1) Set all DIP switches (4) to the off posi-
tion:

2) For music-controlled change of colour,
set the switch AUTO/MUSIC (3) to
the position MUSIC. When music with
notable rhythm in the bass range is
played at a sufficient volume, the spot-
light, controlled via an internal micro-
phone, will change its colour to the
beat of the music.
For automatic change of colour, set
the switch AUTO/MUSIC to the posi-
tion AUTO and adjust the speed for
the change of colour with the control
SPEED (5).
5.2 Automatic colour fading
Set the DIP switch 8 to ON and the DIP
switch 7 to the off position.
With the DIP switches 1 – 6, select the
speed for colour fading (the lower the
switch number, the faster the fading): Set
the corresponding DIP switch 1 – 6 to
ON, the other five DIP switches to the off
position.
