5. In the process of the program, there is no pause. Once the STOP key is pressed at any
time, the test is considered complete, and you will be judged from the stoppage point.
*NOTE - the test is 20 minutes long and will not exceed 20 minutes. After 20 minutes,
the machine will automatically go into a cool down mode. The speed will reduce by half
every minute until it reaches the minimum of .5mph (.8kph) and the incline goes to zero.
Manual controls for speed and incline do not work during cool down.
6. When you press STOP or the cool down is finished, the machine will automatically go to
the results of the test. See the charts below for ratings.
7. Note that the VO2 MAX is a Maximum Rate of Oxygen consumption during incremental
exercise, and is good judge of aerobic physical fitness.
