Cleaning and care

Keep the appliance and the cooking compartment clean. Old grease and food remains war-
ming up will impair the odour and taste of the food being cooked.
Notes on cleaning
D Do not use any caustic cleaners on the control panel or door.
D Do not spray off or clean the appliance with water hoses, high pressure cleaners, high
pressure steam cleaners or general steam cleaners. -
D Follow the instructions supplied by the manufacturer of the cleaning product.
D Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
D Stainless steel must not be in prolonged contact with concentrated acids, vinegar essence,
salt solution, mustard or spice mixtures, otherwise the protective layer will be corroded.
Rinse stainless steel surfaces clean and rub them dry after use.
D Do not clean the appliance and the cooking compartment with acids or expose to acid
vapours as the surfaces will be damaged and may be discoloured.
D Wear protective clothing such as gloves and safety goggles while cleaning the appliance.
Cleaning and care products
Suitable cleaning and care products can be obtained from your customer service.
These include e.g.:
− Grease-dissolving cleaning products or special stainless steel cleaners,
− Protective stainless steel cleaners.

Cleaning the stainless steel surfaces

. Wash off the cleaned part thoroughly with water after strong pungent cleaning products.
. Clean stainless steel surfaces with grease-dissolving cleaning products or special stainless
steel cleaners.
. Rub cleaned parts and surfaces dry with a soft cloth.
