Drive ON lever
This engages the wheel drive and allows
the machine to move forward.
1.
Drive engaged. The lawn mower is driven
forward with the lever pulled against the
handle (Fig.15.A). The lawn mower stops
moving forward when the lever is released.
IMPORTANT The engine has to be always
started with the drive disengaged.
IMPORTANT To prevent damage to
the transmission, do not pull the machine
backwards with the drive engaged.

HANDLE - TYPE "II"/"III" - ADVANCED SERIES
5.3.1
Operator presence lever
The operator presence lever (Fig.16.A) enables
the cutting means and drive engagement.
Press one of the two levers (Fig.16.A) against the handle to
enable the cutting means and drive engagement functions.
When both levers are released, the motor
automatically stops and all functions are disabled.
5.3.2
Power button
The power button (Fig.17.A) is used to:
1.
Machine start-up. By pressing the button
(Fig.17.A) the display (Fig.17.B) switches
on and the machine is ready for use.
NOTE The machine can be switched
on only if the operator presence lever
and the drive lever are released.
NOTE In case the machine is not
operated, the display turns off after 15
seconds and the above-mentioned
operation must be carried out again.

Cutting means engagement.
NOTE The cutting means
engagement is possible only by
pressing the operator presence lever
against the handle (see par. 6.3).

Cutting means disengagement. With the
cutting means engaged, press the power
button (Fig.17.A); the cutting means stops
whilst keeping the machine powered on.
5.3.3
Drive ON lever
This engages the wheel drive and allows
the machine to move forward.
Traction engaged.
To make the machine moving forward:
a. Press one of the two operator
presence levers (Fig.16.A)
against the handle.
b. Press one of the two drive engagement
levers (Fig.16.B) against the handle.
Forward speed adjustment is possible
through the selection knob (Fig.17.C).
You can select 6 different levels of speed.
1.
Maximum speed (about 5 Km/h).
Minimum speed (about 2.5 Km/h).
2.
Every two "clicks" of the selection knob
(Fig.17.C) cause a forward speed level change,
displayed by a bar indicator (Fig.17.C1).
NOTE The last speed level selected remains
set after the machine is turned off.
IMPORTANT To prevent damage to
the transmission, do not pull the machine
backwards with the drive engaged.
5.3.4
"ECO" button
The "ECO" mode allows to save energy when
cutting the grass, optimising the battery life.
Press the button (Fig.17.D) to enable
or disable "ECO" mode.
When the traction is active, the display
shows the indication "E".
This mode automatically turns off when the
operator presence levers are released.
NOTE It is not recommended to use the
"ECO" function in heavy grass cutting conditions
(cutting of dense, high, humid grass).
5.4
CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Lower or raise the chassis to cut the
grass at different heights.
Do this when the cutting means is stationary.
Cutting height adjustment is carried out by
using the appropriate levers (Fig.18.A).
The four wheels must be adjusted at the same height.
