1. Toe guard for column HTL only : the rear cross member
of the loading floor is equipped with a profile of 75mm
deep and a sloping edge with an angle of max. 30°. [See
Fig. 1.3 and Annex B.2.3.1 of EN 1756-1]
2. Toe guard for standard HTL (cantilever, slider and tuck-
away HTL) : the rear cross member of the loading floor is
equipped with a toe-guard made of flexible material, with
a sloping edge of max. 45° relative to the vertical. [See
Fig. 1.4 and Annex B.2.3.2 of EN 1756-1]
3. Minimum safety distance for standard HTL : The inter-
face between the platform and the rear cross member of
the vehicle floor is constructed in such a way, that for
every vertically measured open gap "e" of maximum 35
mm, there is a horizontal safety distance "sr" of minimum
80 mm. [See Fig. 1.5 and Annex B.2.3.2 of EN 1756-1]
4. Hinged foot protector mounted to the platform : a hinged
ramp of min. 85mm high is mounted to the front edge of
the platform, and stays in vertical position during the lift /
lowering movement. [See Fig. 1.6 and Annex B.2.4 of EN
1756-1]
5. Hinged foot protector mounted to the vehicle floor : a
hinged ramp is mounted to the rear cross member of the
loading floor, covering a min. horizontal gap of 75mm to
the front edge of the platform. [See Fig. 1.7 and Annex
B.2.4 of EN 1756-1]
