3. WANDER LEAD WITH SPIRAL CABLE
•
The wander lead with spiral cable should only be used
under the safe working conditions described under §1.1
and §1.2 above.
•
Taking into account the recommendation under 8 of §1.1,
if no hinged foot protector [4-5 under §1.1] or safety cut-
out [6 under §1.1] is used, the wander lead with spiral
cable can only be used:
→
On the platform, from a safe working zone of min.
400x400 mm, clearly and permanently marked at min.
250 mm distance from the hazard zone between the
platform and the rear of the vehicle floor [See Fig. 3.1].
→
Inside de vehicle body, from a safe working zone of
min. 400x400 mm, clearly and permanently marked at
min. 250 mm distance from the hazard zone between
the platform and the rear of the vehicle floor [See Fig.
3.2].
→
On the ground, from a safe working zone min. 500
mm away from the side edge of the platform [See Fig.
3.3].
•
In order to mark the safe working zone on the platform,
you can use a paint template [See Fig. 3.4].
