Detachable tow bar
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. ŠKODA AUTO recommends that they are
fitted by a contractual partner.
Note:
The set is designed for the Superb (3V), with the exception of vehicles exported to Aus-
tralia.

Important

Retrofitting a tow bar to your vehicle increases the demand on its cooling system.
As a result, the cooling system components will need to be replaced in accordance with
the information held by workshop technicians in authorised ŠKODA AUTO specialist
service centres.
The tow bar has been manufactured in accordance with approved documentation and
complies with homologation E8 55R-01 55657.

General information

The tow bar has been designed to comply with all Czech and international regulations and
has passed strength tests. The ball hitch with 13-pin socket is fitted with a towball with a
diameter of 50 mm.

Please note:
The ball hitch storage bag (H) is not included in the set and must be ordered separately
from the ŠKODA Original Components range.
Storage bag (x 1 – H)
The electrical wiring set for each vehicle must be ordered from the current ŠKODA Original
Accessories range.
If necessary, order the following:
Adapter (from the 13-pin to the 7-pin socket)
The spare parts for the set (spare ball hitch and, if required, spare lock for the ball hitch
control lever) can be ordered from the ŠKODA AUTO spare parts catalogue if needed.
