Sensor number configuration
If two or more sensors are connected, each sensor must be assigned a different identification
number: two sensors with the same number cannot coexist in the system.
All sensors are supplied from the factory with the identification number set to 1: if you want to
connect more sensors than the one normally supplied with the instrument it is therefore necessary
to modify the identification number of the additional sensors following this procedure:
1)
Turn on the instrument to check the identification numbers currently used and those still
available: in the sensor search screen which appears at first it is possible to identify
which sensors are connected and which are not;
2)
Turn off the instrument, disconnect all connected sensors and connect only the
sensor you want to set i.e. the sensor on which the identification number must be
reset;
3)
Turn the instrument on: the connected sensor will be identified as sensor n.1:
4)
Enter the instrument menu by pressing the ON button for three seconds and select the
"Sens. Address" item;
5)
Set the screen by entering the current address of the sensor and the one you want to
assign: for example, to change a sensor from address 1 to address 2 the screen must
be set as follows:
6)
Select the Send command: if the command is successful, OK will appear next to send,
otherwise Error will be displayed;
7)
Exit the menu, switch off and on again and check that the connected sensor is now
found with the new identification number assigned;
8)
Repeat the procedure with any other sensor which has to be connected and set;
9)
At the end of the procedure, connect all the sensors, switch on the instrument and check
that they are all identified with their correct identification number
