POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Machine is not turned on
or plugged in.
• Water tank is empty.
• Selector Control not in
'Espresso' position.
• Coffee grind is too fine
• Too much coffee in
the filter
• Coffee tamped too firmly
• The filter is blocked
• The coffee grind is
too coarse
• Not enough coffee in
the filter
• Coffee not tamped firmly
enough
• The water tank is empty
or low
• Coffee grind is too fine
• Machine is blocked by
mineral deposits
WHAT TO dO
Ensure the machine is plugged in
and the 'ON/OFF' button is in the
'ON' position.
Refer to step 1 – Filling the water
tank on page 15.
Turn the selector control to the
'Espresso' position.
Ensure you use a suitable espresso
grind. Refer to 'The Grind' on
page 22.
Refer to 'Preparing the coffee' on
page 15.
Refer to 'Tamping the coffee' on

Use the fine pin on the cleaning
tool to clear the holes. Please refer
to 'Cleaning the filters' on page 26.
Ensure you use a suitable espresso
