• Fit the strut in the relevant slot in the lower
base Fig. 2.
• Adjust the height for your child by adjusting
the height of the strut while pressing the strut
height adjustment buttons C4.
• Position the upper base on the strut.
WARNING: Make sure the handles are in
horizontal position Fig. 3. Match the fasten-
ing buttons B2 with the handle adjustment
buttons C2 until you hear the «Click» con-
firming fastening Fig. 3A.
• To continue assembly, release the legs press-
ing the relevant button F1 (Fig. 4).
• Turn the legs up until they fit inside the relevant
leg fastening slots B4 as shown in Fig. 5.
• In order to correctly adjust the height make
sure that the numbers of the leg fastening
slots B4 match those on the strut C4 (Fig. 5).
• WARNING: Make sure that the legs are en-
gaged correctly as shown in Fig. 5A.
• Before using the product as a baby walker,
turn it upside down and check that all the
points shown in Fig. 6 are correctly fit.
• Fit the electronic toy panel in the relevant slot
as shown in Fig. 7, making sure that it is fas-
tened correctly.
USE IN FIRST STEPS CONFIGURATION (Fig. Y)
• In order to release the legs from the upper
base and to change to other configurations
(first steps and ride-on), press and release the
safety buttons B3 and legs release buttons F1
located on the upper base and legs respec-
tively as shown in Fig. 8-8A.
• To remove the upper base, pull the two han-
dle fastening buttons B2 and lift up as shown
in Fig. 9.
• Now remove the rear bar pressing the release
tabs E2 to remove it from the slots in the rear
bar F5 as shown in Fig. 10.
• Depending on the child' s height, both strut
and handles can be adjusted by means of the
adjustment buttons C4 and the buttons C2
respectively (Fig.11-11A).
• First Steps is now ready for use.
USE IN RIDE-ON CONFIGURATION (Fig. Z)
• To change into this configuration, pull out the
strut from its slot pressing the height adjust-
ment buttons C4 (Fig. 12).
• Now you can pull out the saddle from the
compartment C5 (Fig. 12A) and open the sup-
port D2 (Fig. 13).
• Fit the saddle support in the relevant slot F4
and fit the strut again in its slot F3 in the lower
base (Fig. 14).
• To complete assembly, turn the legs up until
they fit inside the leg slots in the saddle D1
until you hear a click confirming fastening in
Fig. 15.
• WARNING: Before use, check that the saddle
release button D3 is engaged and that the leg
release buttons F1 are in the position shown
in Fig. 16.
• If you need to adjust the height, repeat the
steps illustrated in Fig. 11.
• Then fit the rear bar in the relevant slots F5
(Fig. 1) making sure that you hear the «Click»
confirming fastening (Fig. 1A).
• The ride-on configuration is now ready for use.
ELECTRONIC TOY PANEL
• The toy panel can be used in all three set-ups
fitting it inside the relevant slots (B1 - C3).
ELECTRONIC TOY – SAFETY OF THE ELEC-
TRICAL PARTS
WARNING:
• The electronic toy requires 2 1.5V AA alkaline
batteries (not supplied).
• Batteries must only be fitted by an adult.
• To fit and/or replace the batteries: Loosen the
screw on the battery compartment cover
with a screwdriver and open the cover (re-
move the spent batteries), fit the new ones,
making sure that they have been fitted with
the correct polarity as shown in the battery
compartment, fit the cover again and tighten
the screw.
• Always keep batteries and tools out of the
reach of children.
• Make sure the batteries are fitted with their
poles in the right direction.
• The use of rechargeable batteries is not recom-
mended as they may reduce the toy' s operability.
• Only use alkaline batteries of the same type
or equivalent to the type recommended for a
correct product functioning.
• If rechargeable batteries are used, remove them
from the toy before recharging and recharge
them only under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries must be charged only
under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries must be removed
from the product during recharging.
• Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable bat-
teries: they might explode.
• Always remove discharged batteries from the
