Personal injury and/or damage
A trolley without castor brakes can cause injuries and damage to property if allowed to roll away
accidentally.
– Always park trolley to ensure that it is secure and cannot move of its own accord.

Pinched feet
You can pinch or injure your foot when releasing or locking the castor brakes.
– Be careful not to put your foot between the castor brake and the castor or trolley panelling.
– Release the castor brakes (1).
– Use both hands on the trolley push handle rail to carefully push the trolley to its new location.
– Lock castor brakes (2).

All instructions, conditions and operational requirements for moving the trolley to a new loca-
tion on a level surface also apply to traversing ramps, recesses and sloped surfaces.

The trolley can tip over when traversing a slanted surface.
– Never move the trolley across a surface such as a ramp with an incline >10°.
