The appliance may be used by children aged 8 and
up and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or a lack of experience pro-
vided that they are supervised or they have been
instructed on how to use the appliance safely and
have understood the resulting risks. Children must
never play with the appliance. Children must never
clean the appliance or perform user maintenance
unless they are supervised.
WARNING Burns or scalding
The product has a safety valve.
With safety valves there is a risk of scalding from the
expulsion of steam.

Closing the ball valve in the solar compact installa-
tion and the ball valve possibly installed in the solar
flow separates the safety assembly from the heat ex-
changer. High pressure can result from the cylinder
heating up, which in turn can lead to in injury and
material damage.
Only close the ball valves for service.
Damage to the appliance and environment

mineral oil-based products cause permanent dam-
age to the ePdm gaskets. this impairs the tightness.
we accept no liability, nor do we offer replacements
under warranty, for losses caused by gaskets damaged
in this way.
f never allow ePdm to come into contact with sub-

stances that contain mineral oil.
f use lubricants based on silicone or polyalkylen,

which do not contain mineral oil-based products.

2.2 intended use

the solar compact installation enables the heat transfer me-
dium to be circulated through the solar circuit between the
collector and the cylinder indirect coil.
this appliance is designed for domestic use. It can be used
safely by untrained persons. the appliance can also be used in
a non-domestic environment, e.g. in a small business, as long
as it is used in the same way.
any other use beyond that described shall be deemed inap-

propriate. Observation of these instructions and of instructions
for any accessories used is also part of the correct use of this
appliance.

3. Product description

the solar compact installation contains all important compo-
nents for installing the hydraulic circuit of a solar thermal sys-
tem. the solar compact installation connects the solar collector
array to the solar cylinder. the solar compact installation can
be mounted on the wall or directly to the cylinder using the
cylinder connection set (see "accessories"). the solar compact
installation is fitted with thermal insulation to minimise heat
losses.
an integral non-return valve prevents an unintentional ther-
mosiphon effect. the heat stored in the solar cylinder cannot
be transferred if the circulation pump stops.
the pump assembly includes a thermometer for the flow and
return, as well as an optical flow meter.
