Figure 9 Illustrates labels on the Door Jamb Anchor. Labels must be replaced if they are not fully legible. Information provided
on each label is as follows:
Read all instructions.
SPECIFICATIONS: Capacity: 1 Person, ANSI 310 lbs (140 kg) max, OSHA 420 lbs (190 kg) max.

USE: See User Manual for details on making connections. Do not allow lifeline to abrade against sharp edges during

use. Use caution when using this equipment near hazardous thermal, electrical, or chemical sources. Refer to User
Manual for additional information.
INSPECTION: Inspect anchor before each use. At least monthly, anchor should be inspected by a competent person in

accordance with the User Manual. Do not use if inspection reveals an unsafe or defective condition. Not user repairable.
This product is RFID enabled and contains an electronic tag that can be read by compatible readers - providing
inspection and other safety information.
ALLOWABLE LOADING DIRECTIONS: Never work at a horizontal angle greater than 30° from perpendicular to the face

of the Door Jamb Anchor to avoid improper loading of the Anchorage Connection Point. Never work at a position above
or below the Anchorage Connection Points that exceeds the vertical load requirements.
This door/window jamb must be installed at the bottom of the window or door Opening, resting on the sill. If the anchor

is not resting on the sill it may rotate. When loaded, allowing the anchor to come free of the window or door opening.
Failure to follow this warning may result in serious injury or death.
