21. Pb discharge program

Discharging lead-acid batteries:
In Pb discharge mode the GM Commander SPORT can be used to discharge lead-acid batteries consisting of up to ten cells.
Here again the maximum discharge current is 1 A.
Press the 'Batt. Type / Stop' button to move to the PROGRAM SELECT - Pb BATT menu. Press 'Start - Enter' for the 'Pb CHAR-
3 sec.
GE' menu, then press the INC button to select the Pb DISCHARGE menu.
The default pre-set discharge current is displayed on the screen. If you wish to change this setting, press 'Start - Enter' again:
the discharge current starts to flash, and can now be changed using the DEC or INC button.
Pressing the 'Start - Enter' button again takes you to the cell count (1 - 10), which can then be altered in the same manner.

To interrupt the charge process before it terminates automatically, press the 'Stop' button.
WARNING: it is absolutely essential to enter the correct discharge current and cell count at this point, otherwise
the battery may be damaged or - worse - ignite or even explode!
