Charging LiXX packs with a balancer connection:
ATTENTION: if the balancer lead is not connected, the individual cells in the battery will not be balanced!

CHARGE' menu, followed by INC to move to the balancer program entitled BALANCE.
The default pre-set charge current and cell count are displayed on the screen. If you wish to change these settings, press 'Start
- Enter' again: the charge current starts to flash, and can now be changed using the DEC or INC button. Pressing the 'Start -
Enter' button again takes you to the cell count, which can be adjusted in the same manner.
When the settings are correct, hold the 'Start - Enter' button pressed in for three seconds; the charger then initiates the auto-
matic cell detect process BATTERY CHECK (please refer to Chapter 11 for details of programming the CHK time), and displays
the values on the screen. If everything is correct, press the 'Start - Enter' button to initiate the charge process; if you need to

WARNUNG: es ist zwingend erforderlich, hier den korrekten Ladestrom und Zellenzahl vorzugeben! Der Akku
kann sonst beschädigt werden oder schlimmer in Brand geraten oder explodieren!
If you press the INC button during the charge / discharge
process, the screen will display the individual cell voltages
of the battery connected to the charger. Pressing the INC
button again takes you back to the Charge display.
Note: if the voltage of one cell differs substantially from the
others during the charge / discharge process, the screen
displays the warning BATTERY VOL ERROR, and the char-
ger halts the process; the screen also shows the CELL
LOW VOL alert (= low cell voltage). Pressing the INC button
again at this point takes you to a display of the individual
cell voltages, where you can see that the voltage of cell
3 is too low, and the balancer is unable to correct it. If this
should happen, your battery needs to be checked.
