HOW TO SET UP AND CONTROL THE UNIT
 Regular breaks during operation are essential to maximize the life of this device as it is not designed for
continual use.
 Do not switch the unit on and off in short time intervals as this reduces the lamp life.
 Always unplug the unit when it is not used for a longer time. or before replacing the bulb or start servicing.
 In the event of serious operating problems, stop using the fixture and contact your dealer immediately.
 Important: Never look directly into the laser beam! Don't use the effect in the presence of persons
suffering from epilepsy.
SETUP MENU - OVERVIEW
LEGEND:
ArA: Automatic random play
SrA: Slow random play
Sou: Sound activated random play
Man: Manual settings play mode
1Ch/7Ch: DMX-working mode
SLA: Slave mode.
You can operate the unit in 5 ways:
1) "Sou" MUSIC CONTROLLED MODE:
The laser runs a preprogrammed sequence to the rhythm of the music. Select this mode when only 1 laser
is used (standalone) or when the laser is placed as the first (master) unit in a chain with several Lounge
lasers.
 Press the FUNC-button until the display shows "Sou"
 Press the ENTER-button to confirm your choice.
 Put on some music and adjust the MUSIC SENSITIVITY: press the UP/DOWN buttons to adapt the
sound level from 0 to 9 until the laser works nicely to the rhythm of the music.
You can connect several Lounge lasers together: just put the first unit of the chain in "Music mode" and all
other units in "Slave mode" to make them all work in perfect sync!
Note: When no music is detected, the laser output will be shut off (blackout).
2) "ArA" / "SrA" FULL AUTOMATIC MODE:
The laser automatically runs a preprogrammed sequence. Select this mode when only 1 laser is used
(standalone) or when the laser is placed as the first (master) unit in a chain with several Lounge lasers.
 Press the FUNC-button until the display shows "ArA" or "SrA"
 Press the ENTER-button to confirm your choice.

3) "MAn" MANUAL MODE:
All functions of the laser can be set manually.
 Press the FUNC-button until "MAn" is blinking on the display.
 Press the ENTER-button to select all functions:
 r0  r9: RED laser strobe freq. (r0 = laser off, r9 = laser on, r1r8 = fast to slow strobe)
 G0  G9: GREEN laser strobe freq. (G0 = laser off, G9 = laser on, G1G8 = fast to slow strobe)
 M10  M19: Rotation speed of the laser dots (M10 = slow, M19 = fast)
 M20  M29: Rotation speed of the LED waterwave effect (M20 = slow, M29 = fast)
 Lb0  Lb9: LED brightness (Lb0 = no output, Lb9 = max. output)
 LF0  LF9: LED strobe freq. (r0 = LED on, r1r9 = fast to slow strobe)
As long as the display is blinking you can change the parameters. When you reach the end of the list
the new settings are permanently saved and the display shows "MAn" (not blinking).
Remark: You must browse all 6 functions until the display shows "MAn", otherwise the new settings will
not be saved. You only have about 3seconds to change the setting of each function, after that the display
returns automatically to "MAn" (non blinking) and the new settings are NOT saved!
4) "SLA" SLAVE MODE:
The laser follows the instructions given by the first Lounge laser (master) in the chain.
 Connect the DMX input of the laser to the DMX output of the previous laser in the chain.
 Press the FUNC-button until the display shows "SLA"
 Press the ENTER-button to confirm your choice.
You can connect several Lounge lasers together. Please put the first unit of the chain in "Sound or
automatic mode" and all other units in "Slave mode" to make them all work in perfect sync!
Remark: master/slave mode does NOT work when a DMX controller is attached!
5) DMX512 MODE:
The laser can be controlled by any standard DMX-controller in 2 different DMX-modes:
 1 CHANNEL MODE: for extremely easy setup and use! (display shows "1Ch")
 7 CHANNEL MODE: for full control of all possibilities. (display shows "7Ch")
 Connect the DMX input of the laser to the DMX output of the previous unit in the chain or directly to the
DMX-output of your controller.
 Press the FUNC-button until the display shows: "1Ch" or "7Ch".
 Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select the desired DMX-mode. (1Ch or 7Ch)
 Press the ENTER-button to confirm your choice.
 Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select the desired (from 001 to 506)
 Press the ENTER-button to confirm your choice.
The Lounge laser uses 7channels, please refer to the DMX-chart below for the functions of the different
channels.
Note: the display blinks when the unit is in DMX-mode and no DMX-signal is detected.
